Standard cloud decrypters require uploading locked PDF files and passwords to remote servers to unlock. This compromises your privacy. Document Alter runs native decryption algorithms inside your browser's local RAM.
The tool initializes the password-locked PDF in a client-side wrapper. By loading the file binary using pdf-lib and passing the supplied password, the decryption engine removes the document's secure catalogs and saves a fresh, unencrypted copy of the document streams.
